For two years, I served on the Media Production Team for the Hampton University Homecoming Fashion Show, one of the highest ticket selling and most anticipated creative events on campus. In this role, I contributed to the show’s visual storytelling by capturing behind-the-scenes content, filming model prep and runway rehearsals, and producing dynamic promotional videos that highlighted the artistry, fashion direction, and cultural energy of HU Homecoming.
Through this experience, I strengthened my skills in event coverage, creative production, and collaborative storytelling. The Fashion Show a historic HU tradition that showcases Black creativity, culture, and excellence, and contributing to its visual legacy remains one of my favorite creative projects.
