Once Upon A Gown

Once Upon a Gown is a national prom dress initiative I founded to eliminate financial barriers for high school students preparing for their milestone night. What began as a personal response to my own prom experience during a season of grief has grown into a joy-centered, accessible program that has provided free gowns to students across more than 35 states.

I oversee branding, digital storytelling, donor outreach, and the logistical coordination of receiving, organizing, and distributing gowns. In its second year, the initiative has collected over 300 dresses through community partnerships, campus drives, and online contributors. My role includes developing promotional campaigns, managing volunteer support, and maintaining a seamless request-and-delivery process through onceuponagown.org.

Once Upon a Gown blends service leadership, communication strategy, and empowerment; helping young women feel confident, celebrated, and supported during an important life moment.
