Student Government Class Office

As the Representative to the Organizational Board for Hampton University’s Junior Class Office, I serve as a communication bridge between student organizations and class leadership, supporting clear information flow, coordinated programming, and consistent student engagement. A key part of my role includes managing the official Class of 2026 Instagram account, where I oversee all digital communications, create event promotions, and maintain a cohesive brand identity for the class. This work strengthens transparency, builds community, and ensures students stay informed about opportunities, initiatives, and class-wide updates.

After initially running my freshman year and losing the election, I returned with a stronger sense of purpose and a clearer understanding of what effective leadership requires. I refined my communication style and campaign approach through my theme, “How to Get Away with a Miracle,” inspired by How to Get Away with Murder. The campaign centered on advocacy, clarity, and strengthening organizational collaboration—values I now actively advance through digital outreach, event support, and my responsibilities within the class office.
