Student Recruitment Team

Within the Student Recruitment Team, I lead digital strategy and content creation while also serving as an active recruiter and campus representative. I rebranded the organization’s social media presence from near-zero engagement to generating more than 200,000 monthly profile views, using brand psychology, data-informed storytelling, and culturally relevant content to increase visibility and connection. My work includes producing high-impact visuals, directing campus videos, managing collaborations with major media pages, and covering large-scale recruitment events such as Admitted Students Day, High School Day, and Honors Visitation Weekend.

Beyond my media work, I support SRT through direct student engagement. I serve as a tour guide, helping prospective students and families experience Hampton University through an authentic, informative, and welcoming lens. I participate in recruitment events, greet students, answer questions, and assist the Office of Admission in helping prospective students imagine themselves at Hampton.

My role blends strategy, storytelling, and service, allowing me to contribute to the University’s brand presence online while also shaping the in-person experience that brings future Hamptonians to our campus.
